I was chosen by Cupidrop for the 6th Generation Beautiful Pioneer program and they sent me the lovely Low pH BHA Overnight mask to review. Cosrx is known for creating products that complement each other and this is no exception. The Low pH BHA Overnight Mask works to restore the skin’s resilience and vitality by polishing the skin at night, during cell regeneration most ample time.
The main ingredient of the overnight mask is BHA or beta hydroxy/salicylic acid, which works on skin’s surface and inside the pore. Along with the BHA you have Centella Asiatica Leaf Water, Butylene Glycol, Helianthus Annus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Glycerin, Betain, Pathenol, Beeswax, and more. See www.cupidrop.com for a complete list of ingredients Made up of these ingredients the overnight mask works into the skin (without irradiation) to soften, moisturize and protect for the next day. It came in a simple tube which made it easy to use and completely hygienic.
As directed I applied the mask over completing my routine. It accompanied a resurfacing routine which included a quick non-chemically based peel. The consistency of the cream is thick and in my opinion, I think it’s too thick. Too much leaves a really heavy overcast. I would only use a bit for the entire face. A little goes a long way but in the morning I wake to lively skin that was soft.
Upon my impression, this mask does what’s expected to do. I don’t think there’s an overall difference that I can claim super unique. I rather enjoy the fact that #Corsx develops simple “to-the-point” formulas that exaggerate their abilities. With continuing use I can believe my skin will resonate a stunning glow. I plan to do a sperate review of the Low pH Barrier Mist this week. I want to again thank Cupidrop and Cosrx for the opportunity.
