A woman’s face is like marble, while it never loses its shine and luster over time life can wear on it. That is when marble needs a good polish and so does a woman’s skin. There was a time I would rely on Western Acid Peels to help me find the polished, smooth look but the dangers of acid peels soon began to frighten me and while a good professional peel may be worth investment and time healing, the more I looked into them the more I grew concerned.
It’s been 2 years since my last peel and I started to see my skin losing that luster. So I looked into resurfacing, an alternative spa facial treatment that is done with lasers. However, my interest peaked with the at home western methods I found online. Most use AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) which gently exfoliates surface cells leaving a smoother, polished surface. So began my next mission. Find the best routine.
The Cleanse and The Scrub

You guys I love to come up with different routines which allow me to mix and match products I think will work together. I came across well-respected American brand, Borghese with a line called Hydrology. The clay contains an absorbing serum, IQ3 Complex Fine to gently draws out impurities leaving skin clean and hydrated. Next to it was the Hydrology By Borghese ReClaim Gel-To-Oil Cleanser
Next to it was the Hydrology By Borghese ReClaim Gel-To-Oil Cleanser. Like most cleansers, it rids your face of makeup and daily impurities. The Peel

To round out the team I wanted to incorporate a peel to grab those last bites of dead skin and kick starts the regenerating process. Enter The Face Shop White Jewel Peeling enriched with pearl powder, it nourishes skin and eliminates dead skin cells that can clog pores. Pearl powder ingredients make skin clean and radiant, giving a brightening effect after peeling. Natural cellulose mildly works on skin removing dead skin cells.
Summary of Routine
Step 1: Use Gel-to-Oil Cleanser for a minute rubbing it in thoroughly. The gel should turn into a nice oily layer. Rinse with lukewarm water.
Step 2: Beginning scrubbing with the resurfacing in a circular motion. Do this for at least 2 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.
Step 3: Follow instructions on the package and gently massage your face as the peel grabs the remain dead skin.
You are gonna clean but also DRY. Par for course beauties so make sure to use a heavy moisturizing cream to secure moisture and rehydrate your skin. I would also steer clear of the regular moisturizing line. No Emulsions, Ampoules, serums or Essense.
Why?
Because your skin is at its most exposed so you will feel even the slightest irritation from other products. Think of it like a chemical peel. Instead, I finish off with a sensitive sleep pack because it does pretty a routine in a bottle. A Sleep Pack works to restore skin to natural healthy appearance all while sleeping. Leaving my skin posed for the next day. Try a pack with cell renewal that works overnight, while you’re sleeping. I recommend the Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Sleeping Mask from Soko Glam. This pack encouraging natural cell regeneration to increase firmness in dry, aging skin.
